By purchasing a commission from me (the artist) you agree to be purchasing my services only. If you have a problem with any of the below conditions, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.Please read the terms carefully:I, Owlarian (the artist):
I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.
I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.
I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.You (the customer/commissioner):
You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.
You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints, etc.)
You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.
You MAY be allowed to sell the artwork if it is a part of an Adoptable. Please discuss this with me prior to paying for the artwork.
You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes. The license to the commissioned artwork may be purchased at any point- contact me for info.

Can I use the commissioned piece as a profile picture online?
Ofcource you can! From now on you own the commissioned art piece, aslong as you follow the Tos then there is no problem in using it as a profile picture.
Am I allowed to post the commissioned piece on social media?
Yes you are, however don’t forget to credit me somewhere on the post with the artwork in question!

Am I allowed to show my irl friends the commissioned piece?
Ofcource you are, aslong as you don’t claim to have drawn it yourself then you can show off the art and make your friends jealous ;)
Am I allowed to print out the commissioned piece to hang out in a frame / on a wall?
Yes you are! Aslong as you follow the Tos then there should’nt be an issue.
-Pricing-
Will the prices ever change?
Yes, as my work will gradually improve, the prices will also increase.
If the prices will change and I have commissioned a piece before the price changed, should I now pay the new price?
No, if you commission a piece before the price changes, you will have to pay the price BEFORE the changes have happened.
for example: you buy a commission for €10 and the prices change to €15, you still will have the price of €10 for your commissioned piece.
Will there ever be / are there special discounts?
No, not for now.
Will you ever host art raffles / art give aways?
Not for now, but I am thinking of implementing it at some time.
About Commissioning
What do I need on hand to commission you?
Just a refference sheet (or a clear picture!) of your character and a basic idea of what you want is enough! Tho, the more detailed the discription of the piece you want, the better!
How do I contact you for a commission?
prefferably via discord, however any of my socials are fine (I just don't check my social media messages as much as discord).
Can I commission art of a character that isn't mine / someone else's?
Only if you have EXPLICIT PERMISSION of that person where the character originally belongs to.
How do I ask you for a commission / How do I formulate my message?
Just a simple 'Can I commission you?' or 'I am interested in commissioning you, are you still open to taking commissions?'. Any question is fine really, no need to worry about me taking the question the wrong way, I don't bite!
